Reporting to the Principal, this role manages the finance, administration, property and operations functions of the school. With seven direct reports you will lead a variety of activities including:

• Management of school funding and budget
• Annual audit processes
• Capital projects and improvements to school property
• Leadership of the administration and support teams
• Oversight of the Parent Centre (He Puaawai), Vocational and the Adult Education (ACE) 

We are looking for a skilled manager who can complete all financial functions to the month end stage (with assistance from an external accountant). You must have strong analytical skills and business acumen and love getting involved in the day to day operational functions that make the school run effectively.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or business management
• Five years’ experience in a management or leadership position
• Project management experience
• Strong experience in a finance or business position
• Experience working in the Education sector would be an advantage
