He Puaawai Young Parents' Centre is a school within a school, providing education to young parents and/or pregnant learners.

Our learners thrive when their teachers are culturally responsive, are actively engaged in improving their professional capabilities, and who are skillful communicators who support mana motuhake for all students.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and effective teacher starting Term 1, 2025. This position is fixed term for the year, 12 hours part-time (0.6 FTTE) over 3 days.

The ability to teach at Level 3 NCEA is an advantage, but not a necessity.

Applicants must be willing to teach across a range of curriculum areas.

Experience in alternative education is a preference, but not essential.
