We are looking for an enthusiastic and student-centered practitioner to join our dynamic and diverse English learning area team. The ideal candidate would have experience with junior English and NCEA English and be ready to embrace the new changes to NCEA level 1 and literacy. You will need to be someone who can work collegially and collaboratively with the wider English and Media Studies team to serve our aakonga. A commitment to equity, a strong localised curriculum and culturally sustaining pedagogies is essential in our learning context.

For overseas teachers looking to move to New Zealand to teach, the terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $59,305 to $95,400, depending on applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals’ actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
The successful candidate will commence at the start of 2024.
