The Catlins Area School has a fixed-term, full-time, position for twelve (12) months, starting on the 23rd of August 2021. The position will be in the primary (Y1-6) area of our area school.

The successful applicant will have the ability to motivate and inspire their learners, develop positive relationships with our staff, students and whānau, and have strong curriculum and assessment knowledge. They will also have a growth mindset, be committed to professional growth, and be excited about the opportunity of being part of our Y1–13 area school learning community.

The Catlins Area School is located in Owaka, the gateway to The Catlins. Owaka is a twenty minute drive from Balclutha, and an hour and twenty minutes from Dunedin. A school house may be available on request.
