Business Manager - Readvertised

Applications close: 1 year ago - 1/12/2022.

We are looking for a Business Manager who has extensive experience effectively leading and managing school finances in a secondary school, and is more than capable of doing the same for the other centres that are part of our school: Adult Community Education and the Teen Parent Centre.

We want our new Business Manager to be:

  • Naturally strongly analytical, accurate, and detailed in their approach to financial management.

  • Meticulous when adhering to the school’s financial policies, processes and best financial practices, including property and human resources.

  • Professionally skillful at engaging in respectful and challenging conservations.

  • Thoroughly knowledgeable about school financial systems that work best in our school environment, to meet the financial requirements of the Board and the principal.

  • Using an astute business acumen and making it work in a school financial environment.

  • Friendly and approachable. At our school it's imperative that our Business Manager is exceptionally calm and respectful of all people.

  • Unquestionably confidential and highly discrete.

  • Extremely adaptable to work autonomously, and simultaneously in a dynamic team environment.

We need a special Business Manager who will ‘hit the ground’ running.

Applicants must be:

  • A New Zealand citizen or resident or have a valid work visa.
  • Be free of criminal convictions in New Zealand or overseas. Any offer of employment is subject to a satisfactory Police Vet / Working with Children (WWC) under the Children’s Act 2014.
