Permanent, full time - 1MU and 1MMA

We seek a skilled and motivated curriculum leader who is:

• Has relevant knowledge/maatauranga in leading and teaching the Aotearoa New Zealand History AND the New Zealand History Curriculum
• Is able to lead a small team of staff and is willing to work collaboratively with other curriculum lead teachers who utilise History standards in their programme of learning 
• Is committed to teaching New Zealand’s and Pasifika histories
• Passionate about teaching and learning and serving the needs of our diverse community 
• A team player and supportive of our school values; Respect, Excellence, Whanaungatanga and Akoranga 
• Experience in leading digital inquiry learning which includes local context at junior level Social Studies 
• Committed to the school’s restorative and culturally sustaining practices 
• Specific responsibilities include leadership of the History courses at Levels 1, 2 and 3 and co-leading the continued design and implementation of the Aotearoa New Zealand Histories Curriculum.
