Due to roll growth and learning support coordinator appointments we have a number of vacancies.
Taupo-nui-a-Tia College is a Cornerstone Values School that prides itself on an inclusive culture and caring staff. The college has a roll of 1100 students and offers a wide variety of subjects and an extensive range of extra-curricular activities.
We are looking for a committed person with a strong work ethic and an empathy for young people with a diverse range of needs, to support inclusion across the school.
In this role you will be expected to maintain strong, positive, healthy relationships with students, staff and management as well as coordinating with external agencies.
The successful applicant will be responsible for identifying and planning individualised learning programmes to support students at risk. This will include the oversight of our learning support register and teacher aides.
We are looking for an experienced teacher with a strong working knowledge of the NZ Curriculum and a current practising certificate, as well as the ability to work alongside teachers to upskill them.
Taupo is situated in the centre of the North Island, on the edge of beautiful Lake Taupo. Skiing, mounting biking and hiking are literally at your doorstep. The town is an excellent place to raise a family and is fortunate to have a good choice of schools.
